From Scape East you can walk to Mile End Underground station in 2 minutes. From here it’s no more than 6 stops to LSE, Central St Martins College of Art and Design, UEA London, Kings College (excluding Denmark Hill campus), and London South Bank University. Shopping

Stratford is only a 5 minute journey on the Underground. Here you can visit the Olympic Park (reopening July 2013) or Westfield Stratford City – Europe’s largest shopping centre with 268 high street and designer stores. Shoreditch, Brick Lane, Hoxton and Spitalfields are a short bus ride away, these areas are famous for their restaurants and nightlife. 

Parks and Recreation

Victoria Park is within walking distance from Scape East. It won the People's Choice Award in 2012 and is officially the nation's favourite park. Even closer are Mile End Park and Regent's Canal, so you’ll never feel like you’re far away from a relaxing green space.

Sightseeing

If you want to visit the famous sights and landmarks of central London, it couldn’t be easier from Scape East. The London Underground Central line will take you direct to St Paul’s Cathedral, and the world-famous shopping district of Oxford Circus. Get off at Tottenham Court Road and it’s a short walk to the entertainment centre of Soho.

The District line serves Westminster station, where you can find the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey. On this line you can also reach Trafalgar Square (Embankment station), Buckingham Palace (St. James’s Park station), and the renowned museums of South Kensington – the Science Museum, V&A museum and the Natural History Museum.
